The Commission Process
The commission process starts with you as the customer. Please fill in the Commission Enquiry Form with all details regarding your piece. I will send you an email with all information needed including price. You will be asked to send a 50% deposit to cover materials and equipment to begin the piece. We will then discuss which is considered to be the best image for you.
Make sure your image is of the best quality possible. photographs should be taken in natural light - no flash, and show the subject in full or of their entire face. For pet portraits, try to make sure they are sat up and facing the camera (holding a treat near the camera is the best trick for this!).
If you’d like a piece with more than one subject in, I can work from multiple photos to bring them together.
I will give you an estimated time for your commission however please allow at least 2-4 weeks for a finished commission. If you require a commissioned piece for a certain date please let me know and I will prioritise your piece.
I recently experimented with painting my own dogs portrait onto a wood slice. If you like the sound of this and would like one of your pet, visit the commission enquiry page and select option ‘Pet Portrait on Wood Slice’ to receive a quote.
